It's with profound sadness that we report the death after a long illness of Larry Di Tillio (or DiTillio), a prolific genre screenwriter and great game designer. In gaming he is especially remembered as the co author (along Lynn Willis) of Masks of Nyarlathotep for the Call of Cthulhu RPG, often considered the very best campaign for the game. He was too a contributing editor for Chaosium's great roleplaying magazine Different Worlds (where he penned "The Sword of Hollywood" column about news and gossip from the world of cinema and TV, one of the best features in the magazine). He left the gaming field for better paid writing assignments and he worked on the He Man and The Masters of the Universe (both the original series and the 2002 relaunch) and he was the executive story editor for the popular Babylon 5 science fiction TV series. Chaosium has published a beautiful eulogy which we strongly suggest reading.
