Hachette Book Group has announced for a May, 9 release (in the US) of Rise of the Dungeon Master, a new biography of Gary Gygax in comic book (graphic novel, the preferred term for bookshops releases of such material) form. The book will be written by David kushner and illustrated by Koren Shadmi. According to the publisher, in the book "the narrative casts the reader into the adventure from a first person point of view, taking on the roles of the different characters in the story". After David Witwer's Empires of Imagination, another sign of growing mainstream interest for Gary Gygax's life and works.
