Ken St Andre, the game designer mostly known for the Tunnels & Trolls fantasy roleplaying game (one of the very first in the gaming industry - 1975 was the release year of the first edition - and still being published) and recently disigner of a crowdfunded new edition of Monsters! Monsters! (alas T&T a la reverse) was involved in a "serious" car accident. According to Steven Crompton, manager of the M!M! crowdfunding campaign, who updated fans in the Monsters! Monsters! crowdfunding page, "KEN ST ANDRE WAS IN A SERIOUS CAR ACCIDENT - But he is recovering. I spoke to Ken and he sounded very much his regular self. He has a fractured pelvis, broken collarbone and either a fractured or broken arm. He said they told him there would be about a month of recovery and he would probably end up at a temporary rehab facility". Having accidents and and surgical procedures in the US may be very costly but it seems that "Ken has Medicare and the Supplement insurance that comes with that and he has car insurance. So hopefully his costs will be covered" so no money could be needed to help him but "if there are co-pays or other unexpected costs, we will let you know and may do a Gofundme of some sort if it is needed". We do hope for him the very best!
