Ernest Gary Gygax Jr, Gary Gygax firstborn son, has passed away on February, 28. There were no reason given for his death, but he was under care for some years including hospitalization. Despite his 'royal' pedigree as son of D&D co creator and AD&D creator, he was not above arguments and attack for his right wing views and support of a second attempt to 'resurrect' TSR and sue WotC for 'getting back' Original TSR IPs. Gizmodo has an interesting and balanced obituary. He was anyway a seminal influence in D&D's creation and one of his character, Tenser, is immortalized ina series of spells and has his own Wikipedia page! Our thoughts are with his family and relatives.
