Great news for all fans of paper magazines devoted to RPGs and miniatures. After the very good Wyrd Science, a magazine we reviewed various times, another publishing crowdfunded project comes from the UK: Secret Passages. This, in the word of the creators, is "a new 64-page quarterly A5 magazine packed with original artwork, in-depth interviews, and insightful essays that luxuriate in specific releases and experiences. There'll be no sweeping histories of entire game lines, no top-down interviews that breeze through 60 books in six pages, and no regurgitating Wikipedia". Delivery of the first issue is announced for January 2025 and it will contain a long review (we think) of the new version of Heroquest, an interview with Mark Rhein Hagen of Vampire the Masquerade fame, another one with illustrator David Carson, an analysis of the famous US Secret Service raid on Steve Jackson Games and more.
